Description
The Hinderer XM-18 3.5 KnifeCenter Exclusive Battle Black Bowie is a highly collectible special edition released exclusively by KnifeCenter, combining the legendary XM-18 3.5 platform with a distinctive Battle Black finish, Bowie blade profile, and exclusive hardware configuration. As one of the most recognizable retailer-exclusive Hinderer models, this version represents a rare and desirable configuration among serious Hinderer collectors.
With an overall length of approximately 21 cm, this XM-18 3.5 features a CPM20CV Bowie blade with Battle Black finish. The Bowie blade shape delivers a classic tactical aesthetic with excellent cutting performance and a strong reinforced tip, while the Battle Black treatment creates a rugged, worn-in appearance that perfectly matches Hinderer’s overbuilt design philosophy.
The handle features a premium Battle Black stonewashed titanium horsehead scale, including the original KnifeCenter exclusive orange and black scale. The combination of dark titanium texture and exclusive color accents creates a unique visual identity rarely found on standard XM-18 models. The knife also includes upgraded Hinderer horsehead pocket clip and filler tab, along with the original clip and filler tab for additional customization options.
Equipped with Hinderer’s 6th Generation Tri-Way Pivot System, this XM-18 3.5 allows users to customize the action using bearings, phosphor bronze washers, or nylon washers. The proven titanium integral frame lock provides exceptional strength, reliability, and the precise mechanical feel expected from Hinderer knives.
The KnifeCenter Exclusive XM-18 3.5 Battle Black Bowie is distinguished by its exclusive configuration, including the KnifeCenter signature markings, orange and black handle scale, and limited production availability. It is one of the most representative special editions in the XM-18 lineup, making it an excellent addition for collectors seeking rare retailer-exclusive Hinderer models.
